Spring Branch Baptist Church of Hartsville, located in a rural community in Chesterfield County, is looking for a conservative Southern Baptist full time or bivocational pastor to lead our congregation. We are looking for a spirit filled pastor who believes the Bible as the inerrant wordof God, preaches the truth of the gospel, and adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We are part of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the Chesterfield Baptist Association.
Qualifications:
**Licensed/ordained Southern Baptist preacher
**Strong biblical preachng and teaching
**Have a heart for missions, caring for the people who make up our congregation and evangelism
**Lead our congregation towards spiritual growth
**Committed to the Southern Baptist doctrine and the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
We have an average attendance of 55-65 on Sunday. Our worship services are 11:00a.m. and 6:00pm on Sunday and 7:00pm on Wednesday night.
A salary, well maintained parsonage with expenses and vacation time are available with this position.
