Job Title: Associate Pastor of Youth and Worship Ministries
Location: First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 2107 Greenwood, SC 29646

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated individual to serve as our full-time Associate Pastor of Youth and Worship Ministries. Check out our website at www.firstmtmoriah.org.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, execute, and/or oversee all aspects of youth ministry, including programming, discipleship, events, and outreach efforts.
- Lead, coordinate, execute, and/or oversee all aspects of the worship ministry, including integrating choir, praise team, and instruments.
- Develop and implement engaging and relevant strategies to connect with and disciple youth, fostering their spiritual growth and involvement within the church.
- Cultivate a vibrant worship environment, working closely with the worship team and volunteers to plan, coordinate, and lead meaningful worship services.
- Mentor, train, and empower volunteers to participate actively in youth ministry and worship activities.
- Collaborate with other ministry leaders and staff to coordinate events and initiatives integrating youth into the broader church community.
- Provide pastoral care, guidance, and support to youth and their families, fostering strong relationships within the church.

Qualifications:
- Affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message
- A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to the teachings of the Christian faith.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in worship leadership, ministry, etc., or related experience to the field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and relate well to youth, families, and volunteers.
- Proficiency in organizing and executing diverse youth activities and worship services.
- Musical ability and experience in leading worship
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support the overall vision and mission of the church.
- Called to serve in a ministry of this capacity.
