Victory Baptist Church is seeking a talented and creative Digital Content Creator specializing in video editing and production to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital media trends, and the ability to create engaging short-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media. They have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, think creatively and strategically, take initiative, are detail oriented, have organizational skills, have the ability to use discernment in making decisions and are a team player.
Responsibilities:
Video Editing and Production:
? Edit and produce high-quality video content for various church events, services, and special projects.
? Collaborate with different church departments to understand their video content needs and deliver compelling visuals that align with the church's vision and message.
? Ensure consistency in the church's visual identity across all video content.
Content Planning and Development:
? Work closely with the communications and marketing team to plan and create a content calendar for video production.
? Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for video content that resonates with the church's audience and reaches new demographics.
? Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into video projects.
Short-Form Video Creation:
? Develop short-form video content tailored for social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
? Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring they are visually appealing and engaging to maximize audience reach.
? Experiment with various video styles, techniques, and formats to keep content diverse and interesting.
Collaboration and Communication:
? Collaborate with the multimedia team, graphic designers, and other content creators to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to digital content.
? Communicate effectively with church leadership and staff to understand their vision and requirements for video projects.
Technical Skills:
? Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
? Knowledge of camera operation and basic videography techniques.
? Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
Qualifications:

? Mature and ongoing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
? Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline; However, relevant experience and a strong portfolio may be considered as substitutes.
? Proven experience as a Digital Content Creator, ideally with a focus on video content.
? Demonstrated portfolio showcasing a range of digital content creation, including videos.
? Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
? Experience with shooting and editing high-quality videos for various platforms.
? Strong creative thinking and innovative approach to content creation.
? Ability to generate engaging and shareable ideas for video content.
? In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their specific content requirements.
? Familiarity with trends and best practices in digital content creation.
? Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to convey messages effectively through video content.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Understanding of brand guidelines and the ability to create content aligned with the brand's identity.
? Willingness to learn and incorporate new tools and techniques.
? Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with other content creators, designers, and marketing professionals.
? Proficient in using various digital tools, cameras, and equipment for video production.
? Awareness of emerging technologies in the digital content creation space.
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.
