Edwards Road Baptist Church is searching for its next full-time Executive Pastor. The Executive Pastor is responsible to the Lead Pastor for the business and administrative affairs of the church. He oversees all building and maintenance functions, real estate transactions, and financial management including budget development and implementation for the church. The Executive Pastor will lead the strategic planning, human resources, finance, and all functional activities to ensure alignment with and accomplishment of the church's mission and vision.
The Executive Pastor should understand the heart, vision, goals, and desires of the church and the Lead Pastor. He should have the fortitude and wisdom to take the skeleton vision and put flesh on it. He is to be a steward of the church’s resources and the pastor’s vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and resources as needed to the Finance Office, ensuring the Church budget is consistent with the Church’s vision and mission.
- Oversight of any remodeling and building projects.
- Evaluate, implement, and improve church processes.
- Support the Lead Pastor in the accomplishment of the church’s vision and mission through ministry effective evaluation, discernment, decision-making, and planning.
- Oversee the church’s assimilation process.
