Job Summary: We seek a Part-Time Music Director to lead our music ministry, incorporating a blended traditional and contemporary worship style. The role includes directing the choir and overseeing music for both morning and evening services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate music for worship services, collaborating with the Pastor.
- Direct the volunteer adult choir by organizing and conducting rehearsals.
- Select hymns, psalms, and other musical pieces that align with and support the weekly message.
- Provide leadership to encourage and develop congregational singing.
Qualifications:
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ who desires to advance the mission and vision of Arial Baptist Church.
- Experience in directing choirs and leading congregational music.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Pastor, church staff, and volunteers.
- Affirms the Southern Baptist Faith and Message
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Hours and Compensation:
- This is a part-time position, averaging 10-15 hours per week, including preparation, rehearsals, and services.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
