- Professional practice setting (current or if retired, previous professional practice setting);
- Academic credentials and relevant professional certifications/licenses;
- List other pastoral experiences that you have;
- Honors and awards; and
- Volunteer leadership positions/offices that you currently or will hold
- Leadership Statement: In thinking about your relevant background for potentially serving as Pastor of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, provide a statement that includes:
- Theological Foundations: Describe the core theological principles that underpin your philosophy. How do these principles shape your understanding of the role and responsibilities of a pastor?
- Pastoral Care: Explain your approach to providing pastoral care to the congregation. How do you support and guide individuals and families through various stages of life and spiritual development?
- Preaching and Teaching: Discuss your philosophy on preaching and teaching. What methods do you use to ensure that your messages are both biblically sound and relevant to the congregation?
- Community Engagement: Outline your vision for the church's role in the wider community. How do you intend to foster relationships and partnerships that extend the church's ministry beyond its walls?
- Leadership and Collaboration: Describe your leadership style and how you plan to work with church staff, volunteers, and the congregation to achieve common goals. How do you handle conflict and encourage unity within the church?
- Personal Spiritual Growth: Share how you prioritize and maintain your own spiritual health and growth. How does your personal faith journey influence your ministry?
- References: Provide 3 references of 1 page each from professional contacts that would know of your capabilities and capacity to serve as the Pastor of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
