Job Overview: 

Administrative Assistant/Church Secretary 

Office Hours Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm

Pay and benfits will be discussed at the time of job offer.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a professing Christian whose convictions reflect the mission values of the Church.
  • Must be able to demonstrate courtesy and maturity in a positive manner when interacting with others.
  • Must be well organized and skilled at multi-tasking.

 

Duties: 

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Support Pastoral staff, Deacon board, committee's and members in a daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
  • Manage Church calendar including event scheduling, facility uses request and staff schedules.
  • Manage Church membership records.
  • Answering incoming calls and respond to messages in a timely manner.
  • Manage Church email systems (Gmail & Mailchimp).
  • Manage the Church website and Facebook pages.
  • Maintain files and records in a organized manner.
  • Manage and balance the Church bank accounts, deposits, contributions and outgoing payments.
  • Manage and keep balanced financial budget and prepare a monthly financial report. 
  • Order supplies for the Church ministries, office, janitorial and event needs.
  • Design event flyers and advertisements.
  • Weekly design and printing of the Church bulletin.

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Administrative or Secretarial experience is preferred.
