Youth Pastor

Cedar Shoals Baptist Church located in Enoree, SC convieniently located near I-26 in Spartanburg County is looking to hire a full time Youth Pastor. This position will require weekday office hours Monday through Thursday 9:00am until 3:00pm. Youth service times are currently Sunday School Class, Sunday and Wednesday evenings. The Youth Pastor will work under the Senior Pastor and will be a member of the Pastoral Staff. In the absence of the Senior Pastor the Youth Pastor will work under the leadership of the Deacon board. The Youth Pastor will assist the Children's Director and in absence of a Children's Director will assume all responsibilities of Children's Director until the job is filled. Qualifications:

• A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out christian values. 
• Affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
• HS Dipolma.
• Experience working with youth in a ministry or educational setting. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills for planning events and activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other church staff members. 

Duties:

• Provide spiritual guidance and leadership to the youth of the church.
• Plan and lead engaging and impactful youth group meetings, events and activities.
• Teach and facilitate discussions on relevant topics to help youth grow in their faith.
• Mentor and counsel youth on personal, socail and spritual matters. 
• Plan and oversee youth centered events throughout the calendar year. 
• Attend all Church wide events and services.
