Part-Time Next Generation Pastor Position
Pendleton Street Baptist Church in Easley, SC is seeking a part-time Next Generation Pastor to shepherd grades K5-12th Grade. Pendleton Street is a growing church in a growing area. This position is starting out as part-time with the potential to turn into a full-time position as the church grows.
Scope: Shepherd our students weekly through the different services offered. Right now, we have Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship, Sunday Evening Worship, and Wednesday Night Bible Study. The Next Gen Pastor would oversee Sunday School classes for both youth & children. They would also oversee children’s church during our Sunday Morning & Sunday Evening Worship times. Lastly, they would oversee the Wednesday Night Bible Study time for both youth & children. They would also work to shepherd our students both on campus and off campus to create a lasting impact in their lives.
This position gives the opportunity to create and cast a vision for our student ministry.
Qualified Candidates:
-High School Diploma is required, college experience is preferred.
-Born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
-Mature in their faith & a growing disciple.
-Adhere to the Baptist Faith & Message (2000).
-Desire to join hands in membership with Pendleton St. and be an active member.
-Creative, imaginative, innovative, adaptable, and willing to cast a vision on the future of this ministry.
-Energetic.
-Willing to be local to have an impact with the community.
-Desire to work with students and desire to develop long lasting relationships with both the students & their parents.
-Desire to make disciples.
-Desire to be a team player.
-Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Office, Planning Center, & Google Suite.
