Salem Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking to fill the position for its next full-time Pastor. We are a traditional Southern Baptist Church seeking growth and a deeper discipleship with an average of 150 in attendence on Sunday morning. Salem Baptist Church is located 15 miles away from two universities, CCU & HGTC. We are located approximately 25 miles away from Myrtle Beach. Our current Pastor retired February 2024 after 13 years of dedicated service. We actively support local and foreign ministry through mission work. Salem Baptist Church is one of the oldest churches in the South as just over 200 years old. We currently have a youth Pastor who is active in the school system throughout coordinated community events, Coastal School Ministries (Middle and High Schools) and with our youth inside of our church. We are seeking the Pastor God has in store for us to inspire challenge and teach God fearing messages. The successful candiate will be enthusiastic and demonstrate a love for Christ all while teaching God's word through a solid biblical teaching.
