Worship Leader

Woodside Baptist is searching for a worship leader to serve the church by helping provide theologically sound worship. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Has a growing relationship with Christ
• Participates in the life of the church.
• Agrees to Woodside’s Statement of Beliefs. 
• A strong theology and philosophy of worship is preferred. 
• Demonstrates a desire and ability to lead others in worship.
• Reflects worship throughout the week in his or her own life. 

PLANNING

• Plans theologically sound worship in coordination with the Lead Pastor. 
• Identify and grow other potential leaders to serve in worship ministry. 
• Find and prepare a replacement in his or her absence. 
• Helps prepare media for services. 

LEADERSHIP

• Choose weekly verses for the call to worship and sending a portion of the service. 
• Lead the people of the church with a worshipful attitude. 
• Lead regular practice for the praise team/ choir. 

WORSHIP

• Regularly introduces new music. 
• Leads singable, theologically sound songs.
• Helps implement times of reflection, Bible reading, and/or prayer portions during the service.  
• Available for other tasks as needed.
