Victory Baptist Church is seeking two highly motivated and creative individuals to join our team as Social Media Content Strategists. As a Social Content Strategist, you’ll get to work on the social media team and alongside the media creative team to build engagement with those who interact with us through the digital platforms. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage our community, and promote the mission and values of Victory Baptist Church. They are passionate about church, powerful storytelling champions of the vision of Victory Baptist Church. The team member is driven by a desire to create and share excellent church-related content that can have an immediate and far-reaching impact through the social media accounts and other channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

?  Develop engaging and relevant content for various social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.

?  Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos to accompany social media posts.

?  Collaborate with the church staff to gather content related to events, sermons, ministries, and community outreach.

Social Media Strategy:

?  Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for assigned channels.

?  Stay informed about social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize content performance.

?  Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Community Engagement:

?  Foster positive interactions with the church community and beyond through timely and thoughtful responses to comments, messages, and mentions.

?  Implement strategies to grow and nurture the online community, fostering a sense of connection and engagement.

Collaboration:

?  Coordinate with the other Social Media Content Strategist to ensure a cohesive and unified online presence.

?  Collaborate with other church departments to gather information and insights for creating impactful content.

Content Calendar Management:

? Maintain an organized and up-to-date content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts across all social media channels.

Reporting and Analysis:

?  Provide regular reports on key performance metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and click-through rates.

?  Analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement of social media strategies.

Crisis Management:

?  Respond quickly and effectively to any social media crises or negative feedback.

?  Uphold the positive reputation of Victory Baptist Church in challenging situations.

Live Event Coverage:

?  Attend and cover live events, services, or community activities.

?  Capture and share real-time content across various platforms during events.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

?  Demonstrate flexibility to adjust strategies based on emerging trends and changes in the church's priorities.

?  Adapt to the dynamic nature of social media and the evolving needs of the church community.

Qualifications:

?  Must agree with and commit to upholding Victory Baptist Church's core values, as well as its stated mission and vision.

?  Mature and ongoing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

?  Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, multimedia/graphic design, public relations, or a related field; However, relevant experience and a strong portfolio may be considered as substitutes.

?  Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.

?  High level of understanding of popular social networks — platforms, trends, design, functionality, users and best practices.

?  Experience with content strategies; very high attention to detail

?  High level of time management and ability to work under pressure

?  Proficient in social media analytics and reporting tools.

?  Strong content creation and curation skills, with an eye for visual aesthetics.

?  Experience in managing online communities and responding to audience interactions.

?  Ability to think strategically and align social media efforts with business objectives.

?  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

?  Familiarity with social media advertising platforms and experience in creating and managing paid campaigns.

?  Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.

?  Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

?  Certifications in digital marketing or social media management are a plus.
