First Baptist Church of Bonneau is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational Senior Pastor who is committed to preaching and teaching the truth of God’s Word, growing a small, older congregation, and leading with humility, vision, and servant-heartedness.
We are a loving, Christ-centered church family rooted in a traditional Baptist heritage. Our desire is to see spiritual growth and renewed vitality through biblically sound preaching, outreach, and pastoral care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ministering to an aging congregation while also exploring opportunities for growth and community engagement.
Candidate Qualifications:

A clear and evident calling to pastoral ministry

Bi-vocational availability (able to serve while working an additional job)

Strong commitment to preaching the Bible as the inerrant Word of God

Experience ministering in or understanding the needs of a small, older congregation

Alignment with the beliefs of the Southern Baptist Convention

Willingness to engage personally with the church body and surrounding community
