Macedonia Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Next Generation Pastor that will teach and disciple the next generation (Nursery to 12th Grade) to Know Jesus, Follow Jesus, and to Share Jesus by providing development, oversight, and implementation of “Next Gen” ministry plans. Some of these ministry plans include:
- Plan, promote, and supervise youth camps, retreats, events, mission opportunities and recreational activities
- Teach and disciple the next generation to grow in their walk with Christ
- Develop and implement a strategy to reach out to the next generation who are inactive and unchurched
- Provide guidance and biblical counseling to the next generation children and parents
- Communicate with and involve parents in the next generation ministry
- Be involved and active in area schools and school events
- Work with associational and other youth ministry networks
- Cooperate with association, state, and local denominational leaders in promoting activities of mutual interest
- Be willing to assist with other pastoral ministries such as worship services, funerals, weddings, church ordinances, etc. when requested by the Senior Pastor.
- Work with the pastor, staff, and ministry leaders in planning, conducting, and evaluating ministry objectives of MBC to fulfill the Great Commission.
